About Ultimate A-League

What is Ultimate A-League?

Ultimate A-League is a statistical repository for all the clubs, players, stadiums, fixtures, managers, records, standings and results in the A-League, from the competition's inception in 2005 right up until the most recent season (2012-13).

Since its inception in 2005, Ultimate A-League has grown from a small, virtually unknown player in the Football website market, to being a well-established and trusted source of A-League news and information. This has been recognized when UAL was nominated for Football Website of the Year in the 2011 and 2012 Football Fans Down Under (FFDU) awards.

As well as the website itself, UAL, through its use of social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook, is the most reliable and efficient news aggregator for all A-League news articles, opinion pieces and rumours.

More recently, UAL is becoming a platform for the voices of the fans to be heard, through the new UAL blog. Going into the 2012-13 season, this blog will be featuring many more up-and-coming journalists and A-League fanatics who need to have their ideas and thoughts heard by the general public as well as those in charge of the A-League in Australia and New Zealand.

Who are Ultimate A-League?

Ultimate A-League was founded in 2006 by Justin Tickner, now the Editor of Ultimate A-League, and was run as a not-for-profit database for over 5 years.

Now, in 2012, with the backing of Hamson Design Group, Ultimate A-League will continue to grow well into the coming seasons.
